They are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Accountant Location: Ugbe Akoko, Ondo Employment Type: Onsite Start Date: Immediately Gender: Any Job Summary The ideal candidate must possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to maintain financial accuracy and integrity. The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, preparing reports, monitoring transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting management with accurate financial information fordecision-making. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting documentation. Identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly. Support external auditors during annual audits. Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations. Monitor cash flow and prepare cash management reports. Assist with inventory accounting and stock reconciliation. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions. Prepare and file statutory deductions and tax-related obligations. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting. Prepare schedules and documentation for audits. Conduct periodic financial reviews and support internal control processes. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports. Requirements: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Added Advantages Strong communication and organizational skills. Minimum of 2 years' experience: in a similar accounting role. Minimum of an HND or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. ICAN certification or ICAN in view. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Previous auditing experience. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience: within a manufacturing, beverage, liquor, or FMCG environment. Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday Saturday resume 7:30am close 3:00pm.
