We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Warehouse Officer Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Properly arrange and store products according to category, brand, and expiry dates. Monitor returned products from customers or sales representatives and ensure proper documentation. Maintain accurate records of all stock received, issued, transferred, and returned. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Assist with loading and unloading of goods while ensuring proper handling. Report stock shortages, excesses, damages, and other irregularities to Management. Verify quantities, product descriptions, batch numbers, and expiry dates against delivery documents. Monitor warehouse space and ensure products are properly positioned for easy identification and access. Prepare and process stock issue notes, transfer notes, and other warehouse documents. Maintain proper filing and documentation of warehouse records. Ensure unauthorized persons do not have access to warehouse stock. Ensure the FIFO/FEFO principles are followed when arranging and issuing products. Perform other warehouse-related duties assigned by Management. Monitor daily stock movement and report discrepancies immediately. Ensure proper handling and storage of FMCG products to minimize damage and losses. Release products only upon proper authorization and documentation. Assist during periodic stock-taking and internal/external audits. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records. Ensure company warehouse procedures and safety regulations are followed. Coordinate with the Sales and Accounts Departments on stock availability and movements. Receive and inspect products delivered to the warehouse. Identify damaged, expired, short-dated, or leaking products and report them promptly. Requirements: Candidates should possess relevant qualifications and experience.
