The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive healthcare finance knowledge, and a proven track record of driving financial performance. Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy & Planning: Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors. Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization. Develop and implement the hospital's financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals. Financial Management & Reporting: Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning. Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with applicable accounting standards. Analyze financial data and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency. Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Revenue Cycle & Cost Management: Monitor departmental budgets and ensure effective cost control measures. Develop strategies to improve revenue generation and reduce financial leakages. Oversee billing, collections, insurance claims, and revenue cycle management. Compliance, Risk & Governance: Ensure adherence to corporate governance policies and procedures. Develop and maintain robust financial controls and risk management frameworks. Lead internal and external audit processes. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, financial laws, and tax requirements. Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team. Build and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. Participate in executive leadership meetings and strategic decision-making. Collaborate with department heads to support operational and strategic objectives. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Audit and regulatory compliance outcomes. Timely and accurate financial reporting. Revenue growth and collection efficiency. Cash flow management effectiveness. Experience: Past experience: in corporate funding, to a level of not less than $20m, including appropriate application of such funds, as the CFO.
