Greet and engage walk-in customers, conduct professional product presentations, and provide technical consultations on food packaging machinery, commercial ovens, and water treatment equipment. Document customer inquiries, requirements, and feedback; maintain an organised customer information database; and ensure timely follow-up on leads, quotations, and post-sales support. Coordinate with the Lagos warehouse and assembly line to manage stock replenishment and product delivery. Inventory & Warehouse Management: Oversee all inbound and outbound inventory activities, including receiving shipments from the Lagos warehouse, verifying quantities, inspecting for damage, and updating stock records. Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports; submit timely inventory reports to the country manager. Implement and enforce security protocols to ensure the safety and security of all store assets, equipment, and inventory; conduct routine stock audits and investigate any discrepancies. Coordinate with the logistics team to optimise stock levels across the four branch locations based on regional demand patterns. Team Recruitment & Management: Recruit, interview, and onboard store sales staff and support personnel as needed to build a capable local sales team. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance management to ensure the team meets sales targets and delivers excellent customer service. Schedule and supervise daily team activities; foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment aligned with company values. Market Development & Sales Planning: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, including potential B2B clients such as food processing factories, bakeries, restaurants, hotels, construction firms, and water treatment solution providers. Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans in alignment with the company‘s regional growth strategy. Track sales performance against targets; prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to the country manager on a regular basis. Represent the company at local trade shows, dealer meetings, and industry events to build brand awareness and secure new deals. Major industry events such as Agrofood Nigeria (West Africa’s leading agro-industrial marketplace) offer valuable platforms for networking and business development. Requirements: Minimum of an HND in business administration, marketing, mechanical engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of sales or branch management experience: in equipment, industrial machinery, or capital goods sectors.
