The role is responsible for ensuring efficient operations, cost control and compliance. Min Qualification: HND Experience: Level: Mid level Experience: Length: 3 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Procurement & Purchasing: Manage daily administrative and operational procurement, including office supplies, consumables, cleaning materials, vehicle-related items, maintenance services, and other company requirements. Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate with suppliers, process approved purchases, verify deliveries, maintain supplier records, and ensure proper documentation. Fleet Management: Manage the company fleet and ensure vehicles are properly scheduled, maintained, and available for business needs. Maintain vehicle files, usage logs, mileage records, maintenance schedules, insurance and registration records. Driver Management: Manage driver recruitment support, attendance, duty rosters, leave, discipline, performance, work allocation and service standards. Ensure drivers follow company policies, safety requirements: and assigned schedules. Vehicle Dispatch & Scheduling: Coordinate daily vehicle allocation and driver assignments. Record users, destinations, departure/return times and mileage. Prioritize management and business-critical transportation needs and maintain contingency arrangements. Vehicle Maintenance: Plan and monitor preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, tyres, batteries, brakes, air-conditioning, and other critical vehicle conditions. Review repair quotations and control unnecessary maintenance expenses. Fuel Management: Maintain fuel records for each vehicle, monitor fuel consumption and mileage, investigate abnormal usage and prevent unauthorized fuel claims or misuse. Compliance & Documentation: Track vehicle registration, insurance, roadworthiness and other required documents. Monitor driver license validity and ensure all relevant records remain current. Accidents & Emergencies: Coordinate response to vehicle accidents, breakdowns and other emergencies. Report incidents to management, coordinate with insurers, repair workshops and relevant parties, and maintain incident records. Office & Facilities Administration: Manage office facilities, cleaning, security, repairs, accommodation support, office equipment, keys/access control, reception support and other administrative services. Supplier Management: Build and maintain a reliable supplier database. Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, responsiveness and service. Develop alternative suppliers where necessary and resolve supplier performance issues. Cost Control: Monitor administrative, procurement and fleet-related expenses. Identify unnecessary spending, negotiate better prices, consolidate purchases where appropriate, and provide management with cost-saving recommendations. SOP & Process Management: Develop, implement and continuously improve SOPs for procurement, fleet management, driver management, fuel control, vehicle maintenance, supplier management, office administration and emergency response. Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering fleet usage, driver attendance, fuel consumption, maintenance, procurement, supplier performance, administrative expenses, and key operational issues. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Facility Management, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience: in administration, operations, fleet management, procurement, or a similar role. Strong preference for candidates with practical experience: managing company vehicles and drivers. Experience: in automotive, logistics, transportation, leasing, manufacturing, dealership, or other structured corporate environments is preferred. Experience: with local suppliers and service providers in Lagos is an advantage.
