The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, while providing strategic financial insights to support business growth. Key Responsibilities: Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk for the organization. Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other financial institutions. Support cost optimization initiatives and identify opportunities for financial efficiency. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts in line with statutory and regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls and processes. Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory filings, and other financial regulatory obligations. Supervise and mentor finance team members, ensuring efficient departmental operations. Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor expenditure, and provide variance analysis. Ensure timely renewal and compliance with professional and regulatory obligations relevant to the role. Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making and business strategy. Requirements: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience: with ERP systems is an advantage. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (IFRS). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) certification is mandatory. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience: in a finance/accounting role, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or service industry.
