We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Inventory Officer Location: Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Summary As an Inventory Officer, you would be responsible for managing network equipment, technical materials, spare parts, and other company assets. Job Responsibilities: Support periodic audits by providing accurate inventory records and supporting documents. Receive, inspect, and document incoming equipment and materials from suppliers and vendors. Monitor inventory usage and identify unusual consumption patterns or potential wastage. Monitor stock levels and initiate re-order requests when inventory reaches the approved minimum level. Ensure that returned equipment is properly inspected, recorded, repaired, reused, or disposed of in accordance with company policy. Issue equipment and materials to technical/field engineers based on approved requests. Maintain records of equipment such as routers, switches, OLTs, ONTs, radios, antennas, SFPs, cables, connectors, power supplies, UPS units, tools, and other network components. Maintain confidentiality and proper custody of company equipment and materials. Ensure that all inventory is properly labelled, stored, secured, and organized. Track the movement of equipment between the warehouse, office, field engineers, customer locations, and project sites. Maintain proper records of returned, faulty, damaged, obsolete, and decommissioned equipment. Prepare periodic inventory and stock movement reports for management. Perform other inventory-related duties as may be assigned by management. Work closely with the Technical, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure effective inventory management. Ensure compliance with the company's procedures for procurement, issuance, transfer, return, and disposal of equipment. Conduct regular physical stock counts and periodic stock audits and reconcile physical quantities with inventory records. Maintain an up-to-date asset register and ensure equipment is properly tagged where applicable. Track all items issued to staff, engineers, sites, and projects and ensure proper documentation. Maintain proper documentation for equipment deployed at customer and network sites. Maintain accurate records of all telecommunication equipment, network materials, tools, and spare parts in stock. Investigate and report stock discrepancies, losses, damages, and unexplained shortages to management.
