We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Store Assistant (Fashion) Location: Ogudu Road, Lagos Employment Type: Full-Time Industry : Fashion / Retail Role Summary The Store Assistant will support the daily operations of the fashion store and provide excellent customer service to everyone visiting the store. The ideal candidate should be friendly, confident, well-presented and passionate about fashion. The role involves assisting customers, maintaining the appearance of the store, organising merchandise and supporting sales activities. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Build good relationships with regular customers. Assist customers with selecting outfits, sizes and styles. Handle customer requests and enquiries politely. Welcome customers warmly when they enter the store. Provide information about products, prices and availability. Answer customer questions professionally. Offer styling suggestions and product recommendations. Assist customers in fitting rooms where necessary. Sales: Encourage customers to explore additional products. Assist in achieving daily and monthly store sales targets. Assist with processing customer purchases. Upsell and cross-sell suitable items. Keep accurate records where required. Ensure all sold items are properly packaged. Store Presentation: Ensure clothing rails and shelves remain neat and organised. Ensure products are properly steamed, folded or hung. Assist with mannequin dressing and visual merchandising. Arrange garments according to store standards. Maintain clean fitting rooms and customer areas. Ensure the store remains clean and presentable throughout the day . Stock Management: Monitor stock on the shop floor. Report low-stock items to the General Manager. Help prevent loss or damage to store merchandise. Assist with receiving new stock. Assist with regular stock counts. Label and price garments where required. Count and organise merchandise. General Duties: Support store opening and closing procedures. Maintain professional behaviour while representing the brand. Support events, launches, photoshoots and promotional activities where required. Assist the General Manager with daily tasks. Requirements: Previous retail or customer-service experience: is preferred. Fashion retail experience: is an advantage. Reside in proximity to Ogudu. Basic numeracy and organisational skills. Willingness to learn about the brand and its products. Ability to work as part of a team. Good communication skills. Friendly and approachable personality. Good personal presentation. Strong customer-service attitude. Reliable and punctual.
