The successful candidate will ensure effective management of cash resources, minimise financial risks, and support sound financial decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop the treasury team while driving continuous process improvements. Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts and treasury reports. Manage daily cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements. Identify and mitigate financial and treasury risks. Oversee bank accounts, transactions, reconciliations, and cash movements. Ensure compliance with treasury policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements. Monitor borrowing facilities, interest payments, and debt obligations. Develop and maintain effective treasury controls and processes. Support budgeting, financial planning, audits, and other finance initiatives. Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions. Monitor foreign exchange exposure and interest rate risks where applicable. Monitor and optimise cash balances and short-term investments. Review banking charges and negotiate favourable banking terms. Provide management with accurate reports and insights on liquidity and cash positions. Ensure timely payments and effective management of company obligations. Job Requirements: Previous experience: in a managerial or supervisory finance role is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Experience: managing banking relationships and treasury systems. 5–7 years’ relevant experience, with significant experience: in treasury or cash management. Proven experience: in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, banking operations, and financial risk management. Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is required. Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial, tax, and regulatory requirements. Essential Skills & Competencies: High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. Excellent knowledge of treasury operations and banking practices. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting and working capital management. Excellent Excel and financial reporting skills.
