The role oversees accounting operations, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, cash-flow management, statutory compliance, financial controls, audits, and management reporting to support sound business decisions and the Company\'s overall financial objectives. Key Responsibilities: The Head of Finance & Accounts will oversee the preparation and management of annual budgets, financial forecasts, cash-flow projections, management accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports. The role will ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions, proper maintenance of accounting records, effective management of receivables and payables, payroll coordination, banking operations, tax obligations, and statutory payments. The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong financial controls to safeguard Company assets, prevent fraud and financial leakages, and ensure compliance with approved policies and procedures. The Head of Finance & Accounts will monitor departmental expenditures, review financial performance against budgets, investigate significant variances, and provide recommendations to management. The position will also coordinate internal and external audits, liaise with auditors, tax authorities, banks, financial institutions, and other relevant stakeholders, and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. The Head will provide management with reliable financial information and analysis to support investment, procurement, cost-control, production, and other strategic business decisions. Specific Duties Lead and supervise the Finance & Accounts team and ensure effective performance of all accounting functions. Prepare and present periodic financial and management reports to senior management. Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor cash flow, working capital, income, expenditure, and liquidity. Ensure proper accounting for inventory, fixed assets, production costs, and other Company resources. Review and approve financial transactions in line with approved authority limits and policies. Monitor accounts receivable and payable and ensure timely reconciliation and settlement. Ensure accurate bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations. Ensure compliance with applicable tax, accounting, and statutory requirements. Coordinate annual audits and provide required documentation and explanations. Strengthen internal financial controls and recommend improvements where necessary. Identify financial risks, cost-saving opportunities, and potential areas of financial leakage. Provide financial analysis and advice to management on business decisions and investments. Monitor departmental and operational expenses against approved budgets. Ensure proper documentation and authorization of all financial transactions. Work closely with Procurement, Operations, Production, HR & Admin, Internal Audit, and other departments on financial matters. Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial information and records. Ensure compliance with Company policies, accounting standards, and approved financial procedures. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is required. Minimum of 8–12 years\' relevant experience, with substantial experience: in a senior finance/accounting management position. Experience: in a manufacturing, engineering, automotive, or industrial environment will be an added advantage. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, audit, cost accounting, and financial controls. Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
