The Credit Consulting & Advisory Division, a new department of the company with a mandate to render consulting and advisory services to individuals, businesses, and government on the subject of credit, data, and information management, is recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Team Lead, Credit Consulting & Advisory Service Location: Lagos Island, Lagos Jobb type: Full-time (Onsite) Responsibilities: Lead the Credit Consulting & Advisory department, and provide the required vision, knowledge, and expertise. Identify and assess the credit management and advisory needs of existing and prospective customers, and create and manage related value-added products and services. Build a high-performance team across the various service lines, coach, inspire, and motivate staff of the department, and ensure alignment with the culture and ethos of theorganization. Supervise staff of the department, and ensure the professional and timely delivery of the department’s mandate. Market the company’s brand, create visibility and acceptance for the company’s credit management and advisory services, and generate new business for the company. Be responsible for delivering approved budgeted customer base and revenue. Build internal capacity to deliver credit counselling, credit brokerage, collections and recovery, referencing/background checking, fraud management, and consumer supportservices to a wide range of institutional and individual customers. Achieve and deliver the goals and objectives for Credit Consulting and Advisory services as articulated in the Business Plan. Requirements: MBA or M.Sc. in any related field would be an added advantage Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline. Technology savvy, and high level of proficiency in MS. Office (particularly MS. Excel) Experience: to lead a new initiative. Previous experience: in banking and consulting with a specialization in credit risk management is required. Minimum of 7 years of work experience, with at least 4 years of experience: in a similarrole. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
