The Ambulance/Hospital Driver will be responsible for operating hospital vehicles safely while ensuring patients, staff, medical equipment, and supplies reach their destinations promptly. Key Responsibilities: Protect hospital property while carrying out official duties. Maintain accurate vehicle movement records when required. Transport medical equipment and essential hospital supplies. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips. Monitor fuel levels and arrange timely refuelling. Ensure patients are transported safely and comfortably. Respond professionally during emergency situations. Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations. Assist medical personnel during patient transportation whenever required. Ensure vehicles remain clean and presentable at all times. Transport hospital staff to assigned locations when necessary. Drive ambulances and other hospital vehicles safely. Successful candidates will be expected to carry out the following responsibilities: Report mechanical faults promptly for repairs. Requirements: Valid Driver’s Licence: Candidates must possess a valid driver’s licence. This is a mandatory requirement for the position. Driving Experience: Good Knowledge of Road Networks Applicants should possess a strong understanding of roads within Port Harcourt and surrounding areas.
