We are seeking a highly creative, technically proficient, and detail-oriented Architect to join our team in Victoria Island, Lagos. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of building construction, Lagos planning requirements, and current architectural design practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative architectural designs, preparing technical and construction drawings, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and providing architectural support throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities: Identify design and construction challenges and recommend practical solutions. Assist with planning applications, approvals, and statutory documentation where required. Prepare and review working drawings and ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Maintain accurate project drawings, records, revisions, and documentation. Ensure designs comply with applicable Lagos State planning, building, environmental, and safety requirements. Keep up to date with architectural trends, construction technologies, materials, and sustainable design practices. Develop architectural concepts, designs, layouts, and detailed drawings for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Participate in design presentations, project meetings, and client consultations. Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other consultants. Review materials, finishes, shop drawings, and samples where required. Produce 3D models, renders, presentations, and design visualisations. Translate client requirements: into practical, functional, and aesthetically appealing architectural solutions. Liaise with clients, contractors, engineers, quantity surveyors, project managers, and relevant stakeholders. Conduct site inspections, measurements, surveys, and assessments. Prepare architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction documentation. Assist with project cost considerations and ensure designs are aligned with approved budgets. Monitor construction works to ensure that approved designs and specifications are properly implemented. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution. Relevant professional certifications and continuing professional development are desirable. Master's degree in Architecture is an added advantage. Professional registration with the relevant Nigerian architectural regulatory/professional body is an advantage. Proven experience: in developing architectural designs from concept through detailed design and construction documentation. 5–10 years of relevant professional experience: in architectural design, construction, real estate, or a related field. Experience: working on residential, commercial, luxury, hospitality, or mixed-use projects is an advantage. Previous experience: working on projects in Lagos, particularly within high-density or premium developments, is desirable. Candidates must have a strong portfolio of completed or ongoing architectural projects. Experience: coordinating with engineers, consultants, contractors, and other project professionals. Practical experience: with construction site inspections and supervision. Experience: preparing architectural working drawings and specifications. Other Requirements: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines. Familiarity with the Lagos Island/Victoria Island construction and real estate environment is an advantage.
