We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Boiler Operator Location: Nigeria Employment Type: Full-time Purpose To operate, monitor, and maintain boiler systems and associated equipment to ensure the continuous supply of quality steam and water for production processes while maintaining safety, efficiency, and compliance with operational standards The Job Ensuring compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental standards during boiler operations. Monitoring steam pressure, steam quality, and water availability to support production requirements. Removing ash and soot from boiler systems to maintain optimal performance. Performing routine and preventive maintenance activities, including greasing and oiling of boiler equipment. Troubleshooting boiler faults and associated equipment to minimize downtime. Conducting water treatment activities such as water conductivity analysis and boiler chemical preparation. Operating and monitoring boiler systems to ensure efficient and uninterrupted steam generation. Carrying out regular inspections of boiler accessories and reporting abnormalities promptly. Collaborating with the Production and Technical teams to achieve operational and production targets. Maintaining accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and water treatment results. Qualification and Experience: Minimum of two (2) years' cognate experience: in boiler operations or a similar industrial utility role. Possess mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate industrial equipment safely. Candidates should possess an OND in a Science-related discipline. The Person Must: Possess good knowledge of boiler operations and steam generation systems. Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Have a good understanding of water treatment processes and boiler maintenance practices.
