You will work closely with Product Managers, Product Designers, Backend Engineers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders to build scalable, accessible, performant, and intuitive products used by healthcare professionals and organizations across Africa. We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in Vue.js and React to design, build, and deliver high-quality web applications that power critical healthcare experiences. Responsibilities: Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and other backend services. Manage complex application state using appropriate state-management patterns and tools. Help establish and improve frontend development standards, tooling, testing strategies, and CI/CD processes. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality frontend applications using Vue.js and React. Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code with appropriate unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Identify and resolve performance, usability, scalability, and reliability issues across frontend applications. Contribute to frontend technical architecture, design decisions, coding standards, and engineering best practices. Effectively leverage AI tools and coding assistants to improve development efficiency, debugging, testing, documentation, and code quality while maintaining appropriate engineering judgment and security standards. Build reusable, maintainable, and well-tested UI components and frontend architecture. Work closely with backend engineers to define and consume effective APIs and improve end-to-end application performance. Work with internal and external stakeholders to communicate technical decisions, manage expectations, and drive projects toward successful outcome Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders to translate product requirements: and designs into intuitive user experiences. Experience: writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools. Experience: with modern frontend build and development tooling such as Vite, Webpack, npm/pnpm/yarn, and related tooling. Strong understanding of frontend state management and experience: with tools/patterns and experience: integrating applications with REST APIs, authentication mechanisms, and backend services. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript along with understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern web standards. Experience: working with CI/CD pipelines, automated software delivery, cloud-based applications and modern development environments.
