Job Position: Reliability Engineer – Wireline Services Job ID: R162945 Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers Job Summary As a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying, leading, and executing activities aimed at reducing the costs of failure caused by non-productive time, repair costs, personnel, and premature product failures. This role works within or in close collaboration with regional service delivery, global product line and engineering, quality, and supply chain functions to ensure comprehensive incident management and robust corrective action implementation. Job Responsibilities: Ensuring compliance with the Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process and drive reliability throughout product and service lifecycles. Leading and facilitating incident investigations, apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions to prevent failures. Participating in risk assessments, management of change reviews, deployment readiness assessments, and engineering design reviews. Executing the Field Incident Management Process (FIMP), including FRACAS DMAIC management, cause mapping, and preparation of RCA reports. Analyzing performance data, identify failure trends, track KPIs, and share lessons learned to support continuous improvement. Collaborating as a subject matter expert with engineering, service delivery, and supply chain teams while supporting new product development and special projects. Job Qualifications Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a scientific discipline (or relevant industry experience) Have at least of 5 years of experience: in Wireline Operations or AMO Being excellent in understanding of HSE, Quality, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
