Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance & Control Manager to lead our Quality function and ensure that our products consistently meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The Quality Assurance & Control Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective Quality Management System (QMS) across the organization. The successful candidate will oversee Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Laboratory Operations, Compliance, Product Release, Supplier Quality, and Continuous Improvement initiatives while driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Job Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and continuously improve the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality policies. Lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities, including laboratory operations, material inspection, testing, product release, quarantine management, CAPA, non-conformance investigations, and root cause analysis. Drive product quality and operational excellence by improving production yield, reducing waste, scrap, rework, and the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), while promoting Right First Time (RFT) manufacturing. Lead internal, customer, supplier, and regulatory audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings and sustained compliance across manufacturing operations. Manage customer and supplier quality by investigating complaints, implementing corrective actions, monitoring supplier performance, and partnering with Procurement and Supply Chain to improve material quality. Develop and present quality dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports to support decision-making, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Lead, coach, and develop the Quality team while fostering a culture of quality, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organization. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor, Lean Six Sigma, or other Quality Management certifications will be an added advantage. Minimum of 7–10 years’ experience: in Quality Management within a manufacturing environment. At least 3–5 years’ experience: leading quality teams. Demonstrated experience: managing Quality Management Systems (QMS), audits, compliance programmes, and quality improvement initiatives.
