We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Driver Location: Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The role also ensures that company vehicles are maintained in excellent condition, comply with traffic regulations, and support the organization's operational needs efficiently and professionally. The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely transportation services for guests, management, staff, and company materials as assigned. Key Responsibilities: Driving and Transportation: Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off while maintaining high standards of courtesy and professionalism. Carry out airport transfers, official errands, and scheduled transportation assignments. Plan efficient routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption. Comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies. Safely transport guests, management, staff, and authorized visitors to designated locations. Vehicle Maintenance: Report mechanical faults, accidents, or maintenance needs immediately. Ensure routine servicing and preventive maintenance are completed as scheduled. Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip. Check fuel, engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, tyre pressure, battery, lights, and other essential components. Keep assigned vehicles clean, both internally and externally. Maintain valid vehicle registration, insurance, and other statutory documents. Administrative Responsibilities: Record maintenance activities and report unusual vehicle performance. Submit fuel receipts and other transport-related documentation as required. Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, mileage records, fuel consumption records, and trip reports. Guest and Customer Service: Greet guests and passengers professionally and assist with loading and unloading luggage where appropriate. Demonstrate excellent customer service and represent the hotel positively at all times. Maintain confidentiality regarding passengers and company information. Safety and Compliance: Observe all health, safety, and security procedures. Immediately report accidents, traffic violations, or security incidents. Ensure passengers comply with seatbelt and other safety requirements. Never operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair driving ability. General Duties: Ensure company vehicles are used only for authorized official purposes. Support other administrative or logistics tasks as assigned. Assist with deliveries, collections, and procurement errands when required.
