We are looking for a skilled and reliable Table Saw Machinist to join our joinery and furniture production team. Key Responsibilities: Follow all company health and safety procedures and wear the appropriate PPE. Check finished components for correct dimensions, quality and consistency. Set up and adjust the table saw, blades, fences and other equipment according to production requirements. Read and interpret technical drawings, cutting lists and measurements. Accurately measure and cut materials with minimal waste. Operate the table saw safely and efficiently to cut timber and sheet materials to specified dimensions. Minimise material wastage while maintaining the required quality standards. Work closely with carpenters, joiners and production staff to ensure jobs are completed on schedule. Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance of machinery and cutting equipment. Ensure materials and finished components are clearly labelled and stored correctly. Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area. Identify and report damaged or defective materials. Requirements: Ability to work independently and as part of a production team. Good knowledge of timber, MDF, plywood and other woodworking materials. Previous experience: operating a table saw in a furniture, carpentry or joinery workshop. Reliable, punctual and able to work to production deadlines. Ability to accurately read measurements and technical drawings. Good understanding of workshop machinery and safe working practices.
