The Grill Associate is responsible for preparing and grilling food items to FoodCo's quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment. The role involves ensuring timely food preparation, delivering excellent customer service, following food safety procedures, and supporting smooth kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all food is cooked safely, consistently, and served within the required time. Prepare, grill, and present food items according to FoodCo recipes and quality standards. Monitor food stock levels and report shortages or wastage to the supervisor. Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with customers. Work effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods. Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties, including equipment cleaning and workstation setup. Store and handle food ingredients properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination. Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards. Follow food safety, health, and sanitation policies at all times. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the grill station, kitchen equipment, and work area. Requirements: Ability to follow food preparation procedures and quality standards. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality food and service. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an added advantage. Previous experience: in grilling, kitchen operations, or food service is an added advantage. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
