We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Inventory and Record Officer Location: Ijebu-mushin, Ogun Employment Type: Contract Job Summary Oversee daily site store operations, manage material stock levels, maintain precise inventory records, and track equipment usage to support smooth construction activities. Key Responsibilities: Stock Management & Record Keeping: Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile balance records with physical inventory. Issue materials against approved site requisitions and obtain necessary signatures. Maintain up-to-date physical and digital logs of all inbound and outbound materials, tools, and machinery. Receiving & Inspection Inspect goods upon delivery for damage or defects and report discrepancies immediately to management. Receive incoming shipments from suppliers, verifying delivery notes against purchase orders for quantity and quality. Offload and organize incoming shipments systematically within the site store or yard. Storage & Safety: Ensure materials are stored securely, neatly, and according to safety regulations (e.g., proper stacking, hazardous material handling). Lock stores after operational hours and restrict unauthorized entry to prevent theft and vandalism. Maintain clean, organized store areas to minimize occupational hazards. Reporting & Coordination: Monitor tool returns and schedule maintenance or repairs for damaged site equipment. Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly inventory reports detailing material consumption, stock balance, and wastage. Alert the Site Manager or Procurement Team when stock reaches reorder levels to prevent site delays. Salary N150,000 per month.
