We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Finance Officer Location: Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti Job Summary This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working hands-on with numbers, understands the financial needs of a growing business, and can provide accurate financial information to support sound business decisions. We are seeking a trustworthy and proactive Finance Officer to take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, prepare management reports, manage payroll, and ensure compliance with applicable tax and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Process monthly payroll, including PAYE, pensions, NSITF, and other applicable statutory deductions Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate financial discrepancies Support tax compliance, filings, reconciliations, and other statutory obligations Monitor cash flow, expenses, budgets, receivables, and payables Manage petty cash, payments, and supporting financial documentation Maintain proper financial controls and documentation across the business Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and other financial reviews Ensure timely and accurate remittance of taxes and statutory deductions Monitor financial performance and highlight significant variances or issues to management Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports, including income statements, cash flow reports, expense reports, and other management reports Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and financial records Requirements: Good understanding of taxation, payroll, and statutory deductions in Nigeria 3–5 years’ experience: in accounting or finance, preferably within a growing business Strong understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial controls Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Experience: preparing financial and management reports Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and take ownership of financial responsibilities.
