Overview JB Limited, an engineering company, is currently recruiting experienced candidates to fill the position below: Job Position: Project Engineer Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects across power generation, energy solutions, and renewable energy systems. Job Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and monitor engineering projects from design through installation and commissioning. Develop project schedules, work plans, and resource requirements. Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal technical teams to ensure smooth project execution. Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and site activities. Review technical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project documentation. Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and compliance with agreed specifications. Identify project risks and technical challenges and recommend appropriate solutions. Prepare project reports, progress updates, and technical documentation. Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, engineering standards, and company procedures. Support the delivery of generator, electrical, mechanical, and renewable energy projects. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. 3–5 years of relevant project engineering experience, preferably within power generation, engineering, construction, or renewable energy. Experience: in project installation, commissioning, and site supervision. Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Experience: with generators or renewable energy solutions is an advantage. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation. Strong project coordination, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering/project management tools. Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure. Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
