This role is ideal for a professional with extensive experience: in MEP cost estimation, tendering, and commercial management within the construction industry. We are looking for an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor & Estimator with a strong pre-contract background to join our commercial team. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams throughout the tender process. Prepare accurate MEP quantity take-offs from drawings and BIM models. Maintain estimation databases and support commercial negotiations with clients. Prepare tender submissions, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and commercial documentation. Develop detailed cost estimates, pricing, and cost analyses. Carry out cost planning, budgeting, and value engineering during pre-contract stages. Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and contract requirements. Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and prepare commercial comparisons. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience: with AutoCAD is required. Minimum of 10 years’ experience: with an MEP contractor. Knowledge of Bluebeam/Revu and Revit/BIM is an added advantage. Strong pre-contract, tendering, and bid management experience. Proven expertise in MEP cost estimation, quantity surveying, and cost planning. Excellent analytical, commercial, and documentation skills. N600,000 - N900,000 monthly.
