We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Electrical Manager - Power Plant Location: Obajana Plant, Kogi Job Summary The Electrical Manager-Power Plant at Dangote Cement Plc is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance of the Power plant Electrical equipment to avoid breakdown of machinery, preparing of the spare parts list, and maintaining the proper records of equipment history in the designated areas. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Direct assigned maintenance staff in resolving complex and/or difficult maintenance issues. Provide electrical engineering expertise for transformers, generators, motors, relays, cables, etc. To devise appropriate PM schedules for all critical equipment as per OEM recommendations and ensure proper implementation. Prioritize personnel safety & health and ensure good housekeeping during all maintenance jobs. Generate work orders for identified electrical problems. Ensure discipline, skill enhancement and motivation of subordinates. Procurement actions for spares and equipment. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Section Head, Electrical from time to time. Prioritise and assign electrical system related work orders to skilled maintenance staff. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. Requirements: A minimum of fifteen (15) years work experience: in Gas Turbine based power plant. Knowledge of modern electrical systems. Knowledge on electrical maintenance, generator, transformers, AVR, compressor, AC and other equipment maintenance. Very good oral and written communication skill. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.Creativity and an ability to think out of the box. Very good analytical and problem solving skills.
