Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Accounting: Maintain accurate accounting records and process daily financial transactions. Monitor income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and capital accounts. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and maintain the general ledger. Reconciliation & Controls: Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal financial controls. Perform bank, customer, loan, and investment reconciliations. Compliance & Audit: Support internal/external audits and preparation of regulatory reports. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and microfinance banking requirements. Budgeting & Financial Analysis: Provide financial insights to support business decisions. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis. Treasury & Risk Management: Process payments and financial transactions while ensuring proper approvals. Monitor liquidity and identify financial risks or control gaps. Requirements: 2–5 years’ accounting experience, preferably within a microfinance bank, bank, or financial institution. ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent certification is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, regulatory compliance, and Microsoft Excel. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
