We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Economics Teacher Location: Ogun Job Type: Full-time Position Overview The ideal candidate will bring real-world economic concepts to life, helping students critically analyze market trends, fiscal policy, and financial systems. We are seeking an engaging and analytical Economics Teacher to help students understand microeconomic and macroeconomic principles, global markets, and personal finance. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver curriculum covering microeconomics, macroeconomics, market structures, trade, and economic policy. Collaborate with the social studies department and keep parents and school leaders informed of student performance. Integrate current events, global market trends, and real-world case studies into classroom discussions. Assess student progress through exams, analytical essays, research projects, and case study evaluations. Teach students how to interpret economic data, supply and demand graphs, and quantitative models. Promote critical thinking around fiscal/monetary policies, economic ethics, and personal financial literacy. Requirements: & Qualifications Licensure: Valid state or national teaching credential for secondary social studies, business education, or economics. Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical ability, strong communication skills, dynamic presentation style, and effective classroom management. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Social Science Education, Finance, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
