We are looking for a responsible, caring, and reliable Female School Bus Assistant to sit with and monitor students during school bus trips. The primary responsibility is to ensure the safety, comfort, and discipline of all children on board, from pick-up in the morning to drop-off after school. Key Responsibilities: Emergency Support: Assist the driver in case of emergencies and follow all school safety protocols. Pick-up & Drop-off: Assist children in boarding and alighting the bus safely. Ensure each child is handed over to the correct parent/guardian at their designated stop. Discipline: Enforce bus rules in a calm and respectful manner. Address bullying or unsafe behavior. Communication: Be the link between parents, the bus driver, and the school. Report any incidents, delays, or concerns immediately. Student Care: Comfort younger children, help with seatbelts, bags, and ensure they remain seated during transit. Attendance & Headcount: Take attendance before departure and after arrival. Report any absent student to the school office. Cleanliness: Ensure the bus interior is kept tidy and report any damage. Student Safety & Supervision: Sit with students and monitor behavior throughout the journey to ensure order and safety. Qualifications Gender: Female. Experience: Prior experience: working with children in a school, daycare, or caregiving role is preferred. Education: Minimum of SSCE / OND. First aid knowledge is an advantage.
