This role is designed for an experienced Senior Nurse Executive or Nurse Manager who possesses strong business, financial, and operational acumen. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Medical Director, and Board of Directors, you will bridge the gap between clinical quality and administrative efficiency by ensuring seamless operational workflows, financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient care. Position Summary The Hospital Manager will serve as the operational pivot of the institution. The ideal candidate will lead, coordinate, and oversee cross-functional teams (including administrative, financial, clinical, and support personnel) to maintain organisational alignment and achieve strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operational & Clinical Governance Oversee day-to-day operations across all clinical and non-clinical units to ensure seamless patient care pathways and operational efficiency. Bridge clinical workflows with administrative policies, ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are implemented, monitored, and continuously refined. Champion continuous quality improvement (CQI), patient safety programs, and strict adherence to clinical standards, hygiene, and infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols. Monitor patient feedback and overall hospital experience, driving initiatives that elevate service excellence. 2. Financial & Business Resource Management Partner with Executive Management to prepare, monitor, and manage departmental operating budgets. Drive financial sustainability by tracking operational expenses, identifying cost-saving measures, and optimizing resource utilization. Oversee internal procurement pathways, supply chain integrity, inventory control, and asset maintenance to prevent revenue loss or stock-outs. Support revenue growth initiatives by maintaining strong operational relationships with Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), corporate clients, and institutional partners. 3. Workforce & Clinical Leadership Provide administrative leadership to the hospital’s multidisciplinary workforce, fostering a culture of professional accountability, teamwork, and compassionate care. Oversee clinical and non-clinical staffing structures, duty rosters, leave schedules, and the engagement of locum personnel to ensure continuous, optimal coverage. Lead staff onboarding, performance evaluations, and the identification of professional development and clinical training needs. Serve as the primary administrative link between hospital staff, executive leadership, and the Board of Directors. 4. Regulatory Compliance & Information Systems Ensure total organizational compliance with national healthcare regulations, local licensing frameworks, and statutory inspections.
