The ideal candidate must have practical experience: in audit and taxation, with prior experience: in an audit, tax, finance, or accounting consulting firm being highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, accounts and financial statements. Support audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork, documentation and reporting. Prepare and review tax computations, returns and related statutory documentation. Assist clients with accounting, financial reporting and tax advisory requirements. Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Support the preparation of management accounts, budgets and financial analysis. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements. Liaise with clients and relevant stakeholders to obtain financial information and resolve accounting or tax-related issues. Assist in identifying financial, accounting and tax risks and recommend appropriate solutions. Maintain proper working papers and documentation for audit and consulting engagements. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws and regulatory requirements. Perform other accounting, audit and consulting duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field. Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is an added advantage. Proven audit and tax experience: is mandatory. Previous experience: working in an audit, tax, finance or accounting consulting firm is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and taxation. Good understanding of Nigerian tax and statutory compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential financial information. Excellent communication and client-management skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a consulting environment. Remuneration N550,000 – N800,000 monthly, depending on experience, qualification and demonstrated competence.
