We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Position: Accounts Assistant Job Location: Maitama, Abuja Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Assist in day-to-day accounting transactions, including recording petty cash, invoices, and receipts. Maintain accurate financial records, general ledgers, and digital filing systems for all financial documentation. Support the senior accounting team with monthly bank reconciliations and account balance verification. Assist in preparing payroll details, tracking staff expenses, and filing routine statutory tax returns (PAYE, VAT, WHT). Process supplier payments and follow up on outstanding client receivables under supervision. Provide administrative support during internal and external audit preparation. General Qualifications OND, NCE, or B.Sc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3 – 5 years of relevant hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience. Proficiency in MS Office Tools (especially MS Excel) and basic knowledge of accounting software Strong numerical aptitude, analytical skills, and extreme attention to detail. Excellent integrity, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
