Key Responsibilities: Test and inspect vehicles after completion of repairs. Ensure compliance with workshop safety procedures. Handle alternators, starters, ignition systems, fuel pumps, horns, fans, headlights, brake lights and other electrical systems. Perform other duties as assigned. Carry out ECU upgrades/programming, transmitter key programming, steering calibration, ABS air bleeding and airbag module replacement/programming. Repair and replace audio and other electrical components. Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical faults and components. Maintain tools, equipment and a clean, safe work area. Prepare repair estimates and maintain standard FRT on jobs. Diagnose vehicles using GDS and identify required spare parts. Requirements: Ability to read and interpret vehicle wiring diagrams. Proximity to Oshodi/Isolo is an advantage. 3 - 4 years’ experience: as an Auto Electrician in an automobile workshop. SSCE with Technical Certificate/Trade Test I, II & III. Good knowledge of GDS (Global Diagnostic System) and vehicle electrical diagnostics.
