Maintain accurate patient records and examination documentation. Collaborate with other clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care. Provide patient counselling on eye health, vision care, and preventive measures. Diagnose refractive errors and common eye conditions. Prescribe spectacles, contact lenses, and other optical aids as appropriate. Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments. Operate and maintain optometric equipment according to standard procedures. Adhere strictly to professional ethics, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards. Qualifications Previous clinical experience: in an optometry or eye care setting is preferred. Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree or equivalent from a recognized institution. NYSC certificate (completed) is an added advantage. Valid practicing license/registration with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN). Requirements: & Skills: High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and good patient-handling skills. Strong clinical knowledge of optometry and eye care procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
