We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Junior Truck Driver Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking reliable and responsible Junior Drivers to support the transportation and operational needs of a leading manufacturing company. Successful candidates will be required to drive within Lagos and across different states in Nigeria, with occasional opportunities for longer-distance and cross-border assignments. Key Responsibilities: Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly. Report vehicle faults and maintenance issues immediately. Conduct basic vehicle checks before commencing journeys. Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required. Comply with all road traffic laws and company safety policies. Assist with transportation requirements: between different company locations. Maintain professionalism when dealing with company personnel, customers, vendors, and members of the public. Keep assigned vehicles clean and properly maintained. Occasionally undertake approved trips to neighboring African countries. Transport personnel, goods, materials, and other assigned items. Perform other driving-related duties assigned by management. Maintain good knowledge of Lagos roads and major routes. Drive within Lagos and undertake interstate journeys as required. Maintain trip and vehicle records where applicable. Requirements: Good communication skills and professional conduct. Must currently reside in Lagos State. Strong knowledge of Lagos routes and road networks. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is an advantage. Willingness to undertake occasional long-distance and cross-border trips. Minimum of an SSCE/WAEC/NECO or equivalent. Good knowledge of road safety regulations. Must be reliable, punctual, disciplined, and responsible. Valid Nigerian driver's licence. Ability to work flexible schedules when required. Must have a minimum of 5–6 years of residence in Lagos. Previous professional driving experience: is required. Ability and willingness to drive interstate across Nigeria. Generla Conditions Selected candidates must: Maintain strict compliance with road safety and company policies. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, punctuality, and professionalism. Provide valid identification and relevant driving documentation during the recruitment process. Be willing to undertake occasional international trips to neighboring African countries when required. Successfully pass the company's screening and verification process. Be available for interstate assignments across Nigeria. Be available for physical assessment/interview when invited.
