We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Nursery Assistant Teacher Location: Ogba, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Responsibilities: Assist the class teacher in planning and implementing daily learning activities. Help prepare teaching aids, learning materials, and classroom resources. Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. Observe and report pupils' progress and behaviour to the class teacher. Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Teacher. Support the supervision, care, and development of nursery pupils. Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom environment. Assist children with classroom routines and other age-appropriate activities. Minimum Educational Qualification A Nigeria Certificate in Education: (NCE) in Early Childhood Care Education: (ECCE) or a related field is an added advantage and may be preferred. Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE/WAEC/NECO) with at least five (5) credits, including English Language. Experience: 1 – 3 years' experience: working with young children in a nursery school, crèche, daycare, or similar childcare setting is required. Required Skills & Competencies: Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and child-friendly learning environment. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Genuine passion for working with young children. Patient, caring, and nurturing personality. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Professional appearance with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
