The ideal candidate is an exceptional editor with strong experience managing publishing workflows and producing high-quality content. This role will be responsible for ensuring editorial excellence, optimising content processes, managing writers and contributors, and supporting audience growth through SEO and content marketing initiatives. A strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and decentralised finance (DeFi) is essential. Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Entry level Experience Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Remote (Work From Home), Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Editorial & Content Management: Lead the editorial process from content planning to publication. Review, edit, and approve news articles, analysis pieces, long-form content, newsletters, and scripts. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to editorial standards. Manage writers and editorial associates, providing feedback to maintain quality. Develop interview-based articles and other special content formats. Content Operations: Manage content workflows and publishing processes. Maintain editorial calendars, content trackers, and deliverables. Oversee WordPress uploads, indexing, and content optimization. Ensure publishing accuracy, proper attribution, and timely delivery. Conduct monthly content audits and implement process improvements. SEO & Audience Growth: Conduct keyword research and topic validation. Support SEO and backlink initiatives to improve visibility. Collaborate on content marketing efforts to drive audience growth and engagement. Research & Industry Insights: Monitor trends across blockchain, crypto, DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, CBDCs, and regulations. Translate market developments into editorial opportunities and content strategies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, media, communications, finance, law, computer science, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in editorial management, content operations, or digital publishing*. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, and content management systems. Hands-on experience with WordPress or similar publishing platforms. Good knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and decentralized finance. Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.
