Led by Executive Director Adek Bassey, it operates programs spanning digital skill acquisition, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and gender advocacy. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Project Officer Location : Adamawa Key Roles and Responsibilities: Outcome harvesting, storytelling, and result reporting. Project Coordination & Implementation: Lead the planning, execution, and day-to-day implementation of all project activities across the five target LGAs in accordance with project work plans and donor timelines. Review & Work Planning: Organize and facilitate monthly project review meetings, quarterly planning sessions, and operational update workshops with project staff and stakeholders. Referral Pathway Facilitation: Strengthen institutional and community referral linkages for SRHR and SGBV support services. Frontline Supervision: Supervise, mentor, and coordinate the routine activities of twenty (20) Community Referral Champions (CRCs) in their community engagement and referral efforts. Field Awareness & SBCC Campaigns: Direct and oversee community sensitization drives, household outreach campaigns, and the implementation of Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) strategies across target LGAs. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with MSI Nigeria, local Primary Health Centers (PHCs), One Stop Centers (OSCs), LGA officials, and community leaders to support integrated service delivery. Required Qualifications and Experience: Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in SRHR, SGBV programming, and SBCC campaigns. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Project Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field. Key Skills: Excellent leadership, organizational, and report-writing skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; fluency in English and local languages spoken in Adamawa State (e.g., Hausa, Fulani). Stakeholder Engagement: Strong experience: engaging with state/local government authorities, primary healthcare facilities, community leaders, and civil society organizations in Northern Nigeria. Work Experience: 3–5 years of progressive experience: managing community-based health or development projects, preferably within NGOs or INGOs. Supervisory Experience: Proven track record of supervising, mentoring, and coordinating community health workers, volunteers, or field agents.
