We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Factory Operations Manager Location: Ogun Employment Type: Full-time Job Description The successful candidate will be responsible for driving production efficiency, ensuring product quality, optimizing resource utilization, maintaining safety standards, and delivering operational excellence across the factory. We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Factory Operations Manager to lead and oversee all manufacturing operations within our FMCG production facility. The ideal candidate must possess substantial experience: in FMCG manufacturing and demonstrate a strong understanding of production processes, quality systems, inventory management, maintenance planning, and workforce management. Experience: in the manufacturing of chemical-based consumer products such as detergents, soaps, cleaning agents, personal care products, paints, adhesives, or similar products will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency. Monitor and optimize the utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and utilities. Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and business objectives. Manage and oversee all factory operations to ensure the achievement of production, quality, cost, and delivery targets. Prepare and present periodic operational reports, KPIs, and improvement recommendations to management. Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless production operations. Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability. Lead, coach, and develop production and operational teams to achieve high-performance standards. Ensure compliance with all quality, health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Analyze operational performance and implement corrective actions to address production challenges. Requirements: Strong knowledge of production planning, quality management systems, maintenance management, inventory control, and workplace safety standards. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, or a related discipline. Proficiency in ERP systems and manufacturing performance monitoring tools. Experience: implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, TPM, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence initiatives. Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proven track record of managing end-to-end factory operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Minimum of 8 years' experience: in FMCG manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a factory management or senior production leadership role.
