We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Home Care Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Follow each client's individualized care plan. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for clients at all times. Assist with medication reminders (where applicable). Prepare light meals according to clients' dietary requirements. Record and maintain accurate daily care notes. Support safe mobility, transfers, and ambulation. Provide companionship and emotional support. Adhere strictly to infection prevention and control protocols. Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding). Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behaviour. Accompany clients to appointments when required. Requirements: Physically fit and able to assist clients safely. Experience: caring for elderly clients, diabetic patients, stroke patients, dementia patients, post-operative patients, or individuals with disabilities. Ability to communicate clearly in English. Compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and dependable. Willingness to work live-in, live-out, day, night, weekend, or rotational shifts as assigned. Excellent interpersonal and observation skills. 1–2 years' experience: as a caregiver, nursing assistant, healthcare assistant, or support worker. Healthcare-related training or certification is an added advantage. Preferred Qualifications: Basic First Aid and CPR certification (an advantage). Experience: with home care services is highly desirable. Community Health qualification. Other healthcare/caregiving certification is an added advantage. Salary N80,000 - N130,000 monthly.
