We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Driver Location: Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The ideal candidate must have excellent, first-hand knowledge of Abuja's roads, districts, and routes, and must be able to navigate the city confidently without relying on GPS or third-party guidance. The Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of staff, management, and company property across Abuja and, where required, other locations. Key Responsibilities: Ensure strict compliance with traffic laws and company driving policies. Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel usage. Assist with errands, deliveries, and dispatch of documents/items as required. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle (fuel, oil, tyres, lights, etc.) and report faults promptly. Report any accidents, mechanical issues, or delays promptly to supervisors. Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly for official assignments and staff movement. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or management. Maintain the assigned vehicle in clean, roadworthy condition at all times. Ensure the safety and security of passengers and any goods being transported. Navigate all routes within Abuja (and environs) accurately and efficiently without needing directions or navigation apps. Requirements: Must know how to handle manual and automatic vehicles. Minimum of 3 years' proven driving experience. Honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility. Must have excellent and accurate knowledge of Abuja roads, districts, and routes without guidance (mandatory). Physically fit, alert, and punctual. Clean driving record with no history of accidents due to negligence. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Valid Nigerian driver's license (mandatory). Good knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance. Minimum of SSCE/OND or equivalent qualification.
