Power Plant Mechanical Engineer Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: Location Ogun City Sagamu Job Field Engineering / Technical Responsibilities: Understand and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for CAT GAS Generator systems Develop and implement strategies for the efficient running of the CAT Gas generator Monitor and analyze generator metrics, identifying areas for improvement Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend preventive and corrective measures to address them Coordinate corrective maintenance based on manufacturer’s recommendations, best practices, and regulatory requirements: Make scheduled outages and equipment shutdown decisions if needed Collaborate with other teammates for the efficient running of the plant Properly understudy any assigned role as the secondary engineer Analyze and resolve technical issues related to gas generator and diesel-fired engine Determine material, manpower and service requirements: Stay updated on the latest advancements in gas engine technology and power generation Effective communication and relations within the organization for effective running of the organization.
