We are looking for a creative, skilled, and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our travel documentary production team. You will work closely with our production and creative team to edit travel documentaries, short-form content, promotional videos, and other visual projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to transform raw footage into compelling, cinematic content that captures the essence of destinations, cultures, and people. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with directors, producers, and the creative team to understand and execute the vision. Stay up to date with current video-editing techniques, trends, and storytelling styles. Add appropriate sound effects, music, graphics, titles, subtitles, and transitions. Create compelling narratives through pacing, sequencing, music, sound design, and visual storytelling. Perform color correction and grading to achieve a consistent cinematic look. Deliver high-quality videos within agreed deadlines and technical specifications. Review edits and make revisions based on creative feedback. Organize and manage video files, footage, and project assets efficiently. Edit and assemble raw video footage into engaging documentary content. Requirements: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Good understanding of color grading, sound editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling. A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work. Strong knowledge of professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro. Proven experience: as a Video Editor, preferably in documentary, travel, film, media, or related content. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a creative environment.
