Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies aligned with the company's production and business objectives. Lead and coordinate procurement, purchasing, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and distribution activities. Ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, packaging materials, spare parts, and other production requirements. Develop, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers. Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate competitive prices, payment terms, quality standards, and delivery schedules. Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed specifications and delivery timelines. Establish effective inventory control systems to prevent stockouts, overstocking, material waste, and unnecessary working capital commitments. Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality Control, Sales, Finance, and other departments to forecast and plan material requirements. Monitor supply chain costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency. Develop and monitor procurement and inventory budgets. Ensure proper documentation and authorization of purchasing and supply chain activities. Monitor inbound and outbound logistics and ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of materials and finished products. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree/HND in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, with significant experience: in a managerial or senior supply chain role. Proven experience: in manufacturing, industrial, FMCG, plastic, steel, or related production environments. Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, supplier management, and demand planning. Demonstrable experience: negotiating with local and international suppliers. Strong understanding of manufacturing materials, production requirements, and inventory planning. Experience: using ERP systems, inventory management systems, or procurement software is highly desirable. Strong analytical, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
