The Executive Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and discreet transportation services for Executive Management, official guests, and key company personnel. The incumbent ensures that all assigned vehicles are maintained in optimal mechanical condition, driven in strict compliance with road traffic laws, and managed with the highest standards of safety, punctuality, and professional etiquette. Responsibilities: Monitor scheduled maintenance, servicing intervals, and prompt reporting of any mechanical faults or required repairs to the Logistics/Admin department. Provide prompt and courteous pick-up and drop-off services for official guests and visiting partners. Ensure all vehicle particulars, insurance papers, hackney permits, and personal driver's licenses are valid and renewed ahead of expiration dates. Maintain absolute discretion, confidentiality, and professional boundaries regarding all conversations, calls, or business matters heard or observed while on duty. Conduct rigorous pre-trip and post-trip inspections (checking engine oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant, tyre pressure, battery condition, and lights). Ensure assigned vehicles are kept spotlessly clean, both interior and exterior, at all times. Strictly comply with national and state traffic laws, speed limits, and highway regulations (maintaining a zero-violation and zero-accident record). Demonstrate exemplary corporate grooming, politeness, and composure when interacting with staff, clients, and external stakeholders. Coordinate daily travel schedules and map out efficient routes to avoid traffic delays, security risks, or logistical bottlenecks. Maintain an up-to-date vehicle logbook, accurately recording daily mileage, fuel purchases, destinations, departure/arrival times, and purpose of travel. Safely transport the Managing Director and Executive Management to official meetings, business appointments, project sites, and corporate events. Exercise defensive driving techniques at all times to guarantee the physical safety and comfort of all passengers. Ensure that all vehicle safety gear (fire extinguishers, first aid kits, warning triangles, and spare tyres) are fully functional and onboard. Requirements: Valid, clean National Driver's License (Class E or appropriate category). Minimum of 5 - 7years of professional driving experience, preferably as an executive or corporate driver within a structured organization. High level of integrity, trustworthiness, emotional intelligence, calm temperament under pressure, alertness, and excellent geographical knowledge of Port Harcourt and major Nigerian routes.
