This role offers hands-on experience: supporting eye care services while working under the supervision of qualified optometrists. Key responsibilities: Assist with patient intake, appointment preparation, and preliminary eye assessments. Support optometrists during eye examinations, including visual acuity tests, refraction support, and diagnostic procedures. Prepare, clean, and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and optical instruments. Record patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality at all times. Provide courteous guidance to patients on appointment processes, eyewear options, and follow-up care. Assist with dispensing, fitting, adjustment, and basic care instructions for spectacles and contact lenses. Help manage stock of frames, lenses, contact lenses, and clinical supplies.
