Entry Level Job Type Full time Work Mode On site Education: Bachelor Category Educational Administration Job Description We are seeking a passionate, qualified, and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Chemistry lessons, developing students’ understanding of both theoretical and practical concepts, and preparing learners for internal and external examinations. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver effective, engaging Chemistry lessons in line with the school curriculum. Teach core Chemistry concepts through practical demonstrations, experiments, and interactive learning. Prepare students for examinations and assessments, monitoring their academic progress. Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, tests, and examination questions. Maintain a well-managed, safe, and stimulating classroom and laboratory environment. Encourage students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning skills. Provide constructive feedback and appropriate academic support to students. Maintain accurate records of students’ performance and communicate progress where required. Participate in departmental meetings, school activities, and other academic programmes. Promote high standards of discipline, professionalism, and academic excellence. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Education, or a related field. Relevant teaching qualification or certification is an advantage. Strong knowledge of Chemistry and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to conduct and supervise Chemistry practicals safely. Previous teaching experience: is an advantage.
