A leading full-service law firm undergoing strategic growth and transformation is seeking a highly driven and strategic business development & marketing executive to support market expansion, strengthen client relationships, and enhance brand visibility. This role is commercially focused, and the successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior management to translate the firm’s expertise into compelling market-facing strategies, client propositions, and revenue-generating initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement firm-wide business development strategies aligned with overall growth and revenue objectives. Identify, pursue, and cultivate relationships with corporate clients, high-net-worth individuals, and institutional stakeholders. Lead marketing and communications initiatives across digital, print, and public relations channels to strengthen brand positioning and visibility. Develop sector-focused service offerings and client-facing value propositions in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Conduct ongoing market research, client intelligence, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and potential risks. Manage end-to-end lead generation and conversion activities, including events, partnerships, referrals, and targeted outreach campaigns. Oversee content strategy and brand consistency across all platforms, including the firm’s website, social media, newsletters, proposals, and media features. Track, analyze, and report on business development and marketing performance, with emphasis on ROI, pipeline growth, conversion rates, and client acquisition metrics. Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements to enhance visibility and generate new business leads. Drive the effective use of CRM tools and structured client engagement strategies to improve relationship management and retention. Qualifications & Competencies Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, management, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage). A background in law or legal services will be an added advantage but it’s not mandatory. 2–5 years’ experience: in business development, marketing, or commercial roles within professional services, consulting, financial services, or similar client-facing environments. Strong understanding of branding, market positioning, and client acquisition strategies. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, measure performance, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms. Highly organised, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Collaborative team player with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
