Reporting to the Site Head, the successful candidates will provide strong day-to-day operational leadership and field presence, ensuring that production plans, management decisions, and operational targets are translated into disciplined execution across the site. We are seeking experienced and execution-driven Site Operations Managers to strengthen operational leadership across its mining operations in Kogi and Delta States. Key Responsibilities: Maintain strong field presence and supervision across mining and production activities. Drive daily production execution and achievement of operational targets. Drive effective cross-functional coordination across site operations. Promote a culture of operational discipline, accountability, safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Lead daily operational review meetings and ensure timely closure of agreed actions. Ensure management decisions and directives are executed promptly and consistently at site level. Monitor and drive operational KPIs, equipment utilization, and productivity. Enforce shift discipline, workforce accountability, and operational standards. Proactively identify operational constraints and ensure effective escalation and resolution. Requirements: Possession of relevant professional certification or membership of a recognized professional body, such as COREN, COMEG, NMSE, NSE, or other recognized engineering/mining professional bodies, is an added advantage. High standards of integrity, discipline, accountability, and professional conduct. Minimum of 10 years’ relevant operational experience, with at least 5 years in an operational leadership role within mining, quarrying, heavy industrial, construction, or similar field-based operations. Strong understanding of heavy equipment operations, production planning, equipment utilization, and operational KPIs. Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production/Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Ability to operate effectively in a demanding, target-driven environment with a hands-on approach and strong site presence. Demonstrable experience: leading multidisciplinary operational teams and delivering production targets.
