In this support position, you will serve as the organization's onsite technical expert, responsible for hardware repair, network administration, surveillance system management, and IT asset oversight SANY Nigeria is seeking a highly capable, hands-on IT Specialist to support and maintain the organization's technology infrastructure and surveillance systems across its operations. You will work closely with vendors, contractors, security teams, and centralized IT support functions to ensure seamless technology operations across the business. This role is designed for a technically strong professional who can independently diagnose and resolve hardware, network, and end-user technology issues while ensuring the continued reliability, security, and availability of critical business systems. Key Responsibilties Project Coordination & Contractor Supervision: Oversee infrastructure and surveillance system installations, and supervise vendors and contractors through deployment, commissioning, testing, and final sign-off to ensure compliance with company standards. Network & Connectivity: Support LAN, Wi-Fi, structured cabling, network troubleshooting, equipment deployment, and connectivity optimization across facilities. IT Infrastructure Support: Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, peripherals, network devices, and end-user systems across the site. Hardware Repair & Maintenance: Diagnose and repair computer hardware and peripherals at module level — drives, memory, power supplies, screens, keyboards, fusers and maintenance kits — manage spare parts inventory, and route warranty-covered faults through OEM support channels. Asset Management & Reporting: Maintain IT asset registers, system documentation, maintenance records, and provide regular reports on system uptime, repair turnaround times, coverage, and outstanding technical issues. Vendor & OEM Management: Maintain relationships with local vendors, contractors, and OEM support providers. Track warranty entitlements, coordinate repairs, verify service quality, and monitor contractor performance. Surveillance Systems Administration: Manage and maintain CCTV and IP surveillance infrastructure, including cameras, NVRs, DVRs, storage systems, and connectivity. Perform routine health checks, troubleshoot faults, coordinate repairs, and ensure continuous system availability and security coverage. What We Are Looking For Surveillance Systems: Proven experience: managing and maintaining IP CCTV systems, NVR/DVR solutions, and security monitoring infrastructure. Availability: Willingness to work fully on-site in Ogun State, with occasional work outside standard hours during installations and incidents. Additional Advantage: Mandarin language proficiency will be considered a strong advantage when supporting expatriate teams and China-sourced technology platforms. Education: B.Sc./HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, MTCNA, CCTV manufacturer certifications, or related professional qualifications will be an added advantage. Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi environments, structured cabling, and network troubleshooting. Experience: 3 - 5 years of proven hands-on experience: in IT support, hardware repair, infrastructure maintenance, and technical troubleshooting. Software Competence: Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 sufficient to diagnose end-user faults, rebuild and reimage devices, and support staff at the machine. Tenant administration and provisioning are handled centrally. Vendor Management: Experience: coordinating vendors, OEM support channels, warranty claims, and third-party contractors.
