We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Subsea Operations Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of subsea operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely mobilization of personnel, equipment, materials, and logistics while maintaining compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and industry standards. This role requires a strong operational background within the subsea and offshore oil and gas industry, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate multiple activities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence across all activities. Advise clients on operational and equipment limitations and recommend practical alternative solutions where necessary. Participate in an on-call rotation to support 24-hour operational coverage when required. Monitor manpower, equipment, and project-related costs to ensure adherence to approved budgets. Support the invoicing process through the timely submission of operational and cost documentation. Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, client requirements, and industry regulations. Coordinate personnel, equipment, materials, and logistics to support safe and efficient subsea operations. Ensure all subsea equipment is properly maintained, inspected, certified, and fit for purpose prior to deployment. Ensure operational records, timesheets, certification documents, and project reports are accurately maintained. Coordinate third-party equipment, service providers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless operational execution. Plan manpower requirements: and coordinate personnel mobilization to meet operational demands. Serve as the primary interface between clients, offshore personnel, vendors, and internal departments. Liaise with clients to determine operational requirements: and ensure timely mobilization of resources in line with project schedules. Prepare and submit operational reports and updates to management and clients. Support the recruitment and deployment of permanent and contract personnel as required. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline. Professional certification in Project Management, Offshore Operations, or a related field will be an added advantage. Proven experience: in an operations coordination, logistics coordination, project support, or supervisory role. Minimum of 6 years of experience: in the subsea, offshore, or oil and gas industry. Significant field, wellsite, offshore, or subsea operational experience. Demonstrated experience: interfacing with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams. Experience: managing subsea equipment mobilization, offshore logistics, and resource planning. Previous experience: in a coordination role and previous experience: in project coordination. Technical Competencies: Knowledge of subsea equipment certification, maintenance, and mobilization requirements. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and operational interfaces effectively. Good understanding of HSE standards and offshore industry best practices. Strong understanding of subsea operations, offshore logistics, and equipment management. Experience: with project planning, operational reporting, budgeting, and cost-control processes. Personal Attributes: Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Strong organizational and coordination skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Leadership capability with the ability to influence and motivate teams. Travel Requirements: The role is based in Port Harcourt and will require frequent travel to offshore locations, client sites, operational bases, and project locations within Nigeria and, where necessary, internationally.
